Gather Upper North is a combined Christian youth event for the Upper North region of Sydney. Taking place on MAY 29 at LESLIE HALL - BARKER COLLEGE. The night will be full of encouragement for young Christians from churches around the Hornsby area as we meet together, celebrate what God is doing among our churches and in our local schools.
Josh Hayward our guest speaker for Gather 2026.
Josh grew up in Wollongong and realised he needed to follow Jesus at age 15 because Jesus really is Lord. A few years later, and he’s so thankful he did! He loves the beach, having coffee with his wife (Claire) and hanging out with his church family in the Inner West of Sydney. He’s currently studying at a Bible College in Sydney so he can be better equipped to share the good news of Jesus with all the people he meets.
Gather 2026 will run from 7:00-9:00 pm. Starting with Dinner (a BBQ). The rough run of the night will look like,

During Gather26, there will be photos taken to be used for promoting future combined youth events. If you would prefer your child not be used in promotional material (physical or digital) please ensure the person responsible for youth ministry at your church will be present on the night, and that they communicate with the Gather Planning Team any youth not able to be identified in media. We will ensure that our media team avoids collecting media featuring them, and will double-check all media prior to use in any promotional material.
The nature of the event means that it is possible for our team to make mistakes. If this occurs, please contact your church leaders to fix any issues.
